There was an article published this morning in the ABC that the BOM is predicting severe thunderstorm weather across the east coast on Friday and over the weekend.

But if you look at your iliuminr map this morning there the picture looks all clear. Why is this happening?

Australia from iluminr - 22/10/2020 - 9:27 AEST

The reason is that the BOM has not yet issued a specific set of warnings regarding this storm front as yet and they have not articulated the specific areas that will be effected. As you will see if you look at the BOM Weather Warnings page this morning.

Iluminr receives a geo-spatial version of the BOM Severe Weather warnings page and plots that on our map, giving you an accurate and contextual understanding of the impact of this weather in the context of your organisations sites.

As soon as the BOM issues the warning you will see it on your site.
